Description
Html Compiler is a free browser extension by HtmlRunner. It puts a complete HTML, CSS, and JavaScript compiler in your toolbar: three editors with syntax highlighting and line numbers, a live preview panel, and one-click export — with no setup and no registration.
- Manual Run — you control when the preview updates. Press Run or Ctrl+Enter. No auto distraction.
- Three editors — HTML, CSS, and JS tabs with syntax highlighting and line numbers.
- Import Design (beta) — capture the design of your current page as editable reference.
- Export — download your project as a single portable .html file.
- New Tab — open the live preview in a full browser tab.
- Autosave — your code is saved automatically and restored when you reopen.
- Visit Website — one-click access to htmlrunner.com for more free developer tools.
How It Works
- Click the Html Compiler icon in your browser toolbar.
- Write HTML in the first tab, CSS in the second, JavaScript in the third.
- Press Run (or Ctrl+Enter) to update the preview — manual compile, exactly when you want it.
- Export as .html, open in a New Tab, or click Import Design to load a page's design as reference.
- Click Visit Website to explore more tools on HtmlRunner.
Import Design (beta) note: Import captures the current page as a reference only — never a full copy. Protected or encrypted sites may not be fully capturable. Imported code may need polishing.

No data collection. Everything runs locally in your browser. There is no telemetry and no tracking.
